The farm extends over 150 hectares on gentle hills of tuff and pebbles, within the Doc Roma area: vineyards cover 52 hectares and olive groves 8 hectares, while 80 hectares are devoted to arable crops. We grow our grapes organically, with care and respect for our territory, which we aspire to express in the best possible way. The vineyards are located on the first hills facing the Roman shoreline.
The rearing system is low spurred cordon rows for red grapes, and Guyot for white grapes. The red varieties grown are Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cesanese, Syrah, and Merlot, while the white varieties are Vermentino, Fiano, Malvasia Puntinata, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano. The vineyards are farmed in accordance with the dictates of organic farming, so neither fertilizers nor chemical pesticides are used.
The technique of inter-row plant cover and summertime thinning of any excess bunches are the only procedures applied in order to improve the quality of the harvested grapes.
