Solis Terrae

The Solis Terrae wine-growing concern is located in the northernmost point of the Municipality of Fiumicino, in an area suited for grape production between Cerveteri and Ceri. The area has a markedly Etruscan history, as shown by the presence of grottoes and Etruscan artifacts.

The 5-hectare vineyard is located on terrain of volcanic soil, and is influenced by the ideal climate conditions between the Tyrrhenian coast and Lazio’s inland hills.

The Solis Terrae winery produces high-quality wines bearing the Doc Roma mark:

• Doc Roma Bellone, a harmonious, intense, captivating and persistent white wine, delicately fruity, with notes of yellow pulp fruit.
• Doc Roma Rosso, a red wine made with Montepulciano and Syrah, complex to the nose with hints of spice; the tannin is fine and balanced.
