Tenuta Tre Cancelli

When, in 2001, Liborio De Rinaldis inherited Tenuta Tre Cancelli from his family, he came not only into a winery, its vineyards, and fifty years of exciting work devoted to winemaking, but also and above all into the privilege of growing his shoots in the land of Monti Cerniti. This is a place where time has magically transformed lava and carbon black into rich, volcanic layers covered with brilliant colours and inebriating aromas. The millennia bring innovations, and two heads are better than one for understanding certain things better, such as how to listen to what that ancient lava still has to tell us; thus, in 2010, Silvio joined the winery, working alongside Liborio to help spur the estate to increasingly exciting and demanding achievements. The wines produced by these rows have garnered several honours over the years, such as the Calix Aureus for its Lituo 2002, 2004 and 2007, as well as numerous diplomas of merit for other labels.
